Size Guide
Bed sizes in India follow convention rather than a single standard, so the same name can vary a little from maker to maker. Use the mattress dimensions below as a guide to which size you have — and for the exact finished measurements of any piece, see its product page, which lists them for every size it comes in.
Standard bed sizes
| Size | Typical mattress | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Single / Standard | 90 × 190 cm | One sleeper — a child's room or a guest bed. |
| Double | 135 × 190 cm | Two sleepers in a compact room. |
| Queen | 152 × 203 cm | The most common Indian double bed. |
| King | 183 × 203 cm | A generous master bed with room to spare. |
How to measure
The reliable measurement is the mattress itself, not the bed frame. With the sheets off, measure the mattress top from edge to edge — its width and its length — and then its depth, from the top surface down to where it meets the base.
For a bedspread or duvet cover, allow for that depth plus the drop you want on each side, so the cloth reaches as far down as you would like. A deeper mattress or a longer drop simply calls for the next size up. Fitted sheets are cut to a mattress depth, so check that figure against your own before choosing.
For the exact finished size of any piece, see its product page — each one lists the measured dimensions for every size it comes in.
